Common Questions

Quick answers to questions we hear most often.

How long does it take to see results from HRT?

Most women notice improvements in hot flashes and night sweats within 2-4 weeks. Mood, energy, and sleep improvements may take 4-8 weeks. Full benefits are typically seen within 3 months of starting treatment.

Will HRT help with weight management?

While HRT isn't primarily a weight loss treatment, it can help prevent menopausal weight gain by stabilizing hormones that affect metabolism. Many women find it easier to maintain a healthy weight when their hormones are balanced.

Can I stop HRT anytime?

Yes, but it's best to work with your provider to taper off gradually. Stopping suddenly can cause symptoms to return abruptly. Your medical provider will create a personalized plan if you decide to discontinue treatment.

Is HRT covered by insurance?

Many insurance plans cover bioidentical hormone therapy when prescribed by a licensed provider. We provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
